This policy explains how Terista Biotech Pvt. Ltd. ("Terista Biotech", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information about our customers, dealers and business contacts. It covers our website www.teristabiotech.com, our business application at apps.teristabiotech.com, and our communication with you by phone, email and WhatsApp.

1. Information we collect

• Contact and business details you give us: name, company name, phone and WhatsApp number, email address, billing and delivery address, and GST number.
• Order information: enquiries, quotations, proforma invoices, orders, dispatch and payment records.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp, email or through our website, including attachments, and delivery and read status of messages we send you.
• Basic technical data when you visit our website, such as browser type and pages visited.

2. How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiries and provide product information and prices.
• To prepare and send quotations, proforma invoices and order documents, including on WhatsApp.
• To process orders, arrange dispatch and delivery, and keep accounting and tax records.
• To provide customer support and send updates about your orders.
• To meet legal and regulatory requirements.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. WhatsApp communication

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. to send you documents such as proforma invoices and to reply to your messages. When we message you on WhatsApp, your phone number and the content of the message are processed by Meta in line with the WhatsApp Business Policy and WhatsApp Privacy Policy.

We only message you on WhatsApp about your enquiries, orders and our business relationship. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us using the details below.

4. Sharing your information

We share information only when needed to serve you:

• With service providers who help us run our business, such as Meta (WhatsApp), email, hosting and software providers, under appropriate confidentiality.
• With transporters and courier companies to deliver your orders.
• With government authorities when required by law, for example for GST compliance.

5. How long we keep information

We keep business and order records for as long as needed to serve you and as required by Indian tax and accounting laws (generally up to 8 years). Other information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

6. Security

We protect your information with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access for authorised staff only. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

7. Your rights and data deletion

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you can ask us to:

• see the personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, or stop contacting you on WhatsApp or by email.

How to request deletion: email admin@teristabiotech.com with the subject "Data deletion request", or send "DELETE MY DATA" on WhatsApp to +91 91042 25243, from the phone number or email you used with us. We will confirm your request and delete your information within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as tax invoices), which we will retain only for the legally required period.

8. Children

Our products and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the "Last updated" date.
